CD Facility Services began its journey with a simple yet profound vision: to infuse strong core values into the dynamic and ever-evolving facilities management industry. Recognizing the physically demanding nature of construction and facilities work for technicians, and the intricate challenges faced by multi-site managers in coordinating these services, the CD founders, Christina Cummins (C) and Colleen Doering (D), were driven to create something distinctive—a company built on care, innovation, and service. With deep roots in construction and tile restoration, and years of hands-on experience in facilities management, Christina and Colleen shared a personal connection to the industry. They understood its complexities and demands but also saw its potential for transformation. Because they saw an opportunity for mutually beneficial mindsets and shared values, they focused on veterans as their primary technician base. Their vision wasn’t just about building a business; it was about fostering a better way of working. From this vision, CD Facility Services (formerly CD Maintenance) was born.

From the beginning, CD Facility Services (CDFS) was fueled by a strong sense of purpose. The company’s early days were modest, serving a small group of clients with a dedication far exceeding their size.
